Want to Fight Evil? Proof That Anyone Can Accept Christ As Savior

Again I remind folks reading this blog that I do not post as often as most bloggers do. Only when necessary. Plus, the Bible has the absolute truth anyway–that Book is more important. But what the Bible says, in fact, is anyone can accept Christ. In future post I will explain this further.

Note: One of the reasons I have not posted here much in the last few months–as well as on my other blog here— is because I have been working on finishing the final fiction book in my “Prodigal Band Trilogy.” You have heard of the Biblical “Prodigal Son” Christ spoke about in Luke 15. This trilogy is very loosely based on the notion that the younger son inherits or is given a bounty, so to speak, and so wastes it on “riotous living” and, when famine–meaning trouble–hits this son, he must return to his father. Only in the trilogy instead of a “son” is a rock and roll band. Why a rock and roll band? Because when I was growing up, the only real connection I had to anything mainstream in teen culture was my infatuation with rock music. So much so that I did much research on this topic for about thirty years before beginning this book series.

My whole point of the trilogy (that I hope to complete next year, 2017)? What would begin for this “prodigal son” type rock band–the fame and fortune, then the trouble, in all sorts of ways, culminating in (spoiler alert) a very bad situation for two of its members–would lead to a beginning of redemption, and then, finally, THE REDEMPTION. Do I have to say how here? If you read this blog, you know how!

That is, anyone, and I mean anyone, no matter how debauched, sinful, prideful, lustful, self-righteous phony, lazy, and even psycho, can accept my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! That is the point of my writing these books. (And more good news–the final book of the trilogy will be posted online in PDF format and will be available to anyone to download FOR FREE! Next year, that is! But if you want the first two book, that I had printed, you will have to buy them)

More proof that anyone, no matter how debauched or no matter how much one partook in evil, can accept Christ–

1. The apostle Paul. According to the Book of Acts, Paul as Saul was THE biggest persecutor of followers of Christ. And yet Christ Himself turned Saul around into Paul, whose face shined in the process. Why Paul? Because Paul was THE biggest, baddest, Jesus-hater in the building!

2. The Roman Centurion of Capernaum, who just knew Christ could and would cure his servant.

3. A Canaanite woman (Matthew 15). You know, those folks who would never believe in anything coming out of Israel? A Canaanite woman accepts Christ? Who woulda thunk it?

4. A Demon-possessed man (Mark 5). Why not? Christ can even order Satan around! (See Matthew 4 and Luke 4…”Get behind me, Satan”)

5. Peter, who betrayed Christ–well, when Christ returns during the Pentacost, Christ tells Peter to “feed my sheep”–that betrayal is over with.

6. The adulteress–See John 8

7. The Samaritan woman–as with the Canaanite woman

8. Various Pharisees such as Joseph of Aramithaea and Nicodemus, and tax collectors such as Zacchaeus and the apostle Matthew, and rulers such as Jairus.

So don’t tell me that “devil worshiping” rock stars cannot accept Christ! Oh, and so can members of the “illuminati” such as formerly Satanic Bill Schnoebelen…gee my book says something about that as well…
